"The result of one student is showing some error. We are sure he has also cracked the JEE Advanced along with 23 of the Rahmani 30 Patna students", Fahad Rahmani, Chief Excellence Officer, Rahmani 30, said while talking to ummid.com on phone.


In 2016, 50 students of Rahmani 30 had made it to various IITs - India's premium institutions. So far a total of 138 students have cracked IIT JEE under the Rahmani Excellence Program of Rahmani Foundation running since 2009.


The IIT Madras declared online the result of JEE Advanced 2017 Paper 1 and Paper 2 both today i.e. Sunday June 11 at 10:00 am. The Jee Advanced result are now online and students can accsess them at "results.jeeadv.ac.in".


IIT Madras declared the JEE Advanced result today morning and also said those students who took the IIT JEE Advanced 2017 exam may get 11 bonus marks for three ambiguous questions. This would be applicable to all candidates who took the examination on May 21.


Conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and other IITs, the JEE Advanced 2017 was held on Sunday May 21. More than 1.7 lakh students appeared for the JEE Advanced 2017 held at more than 500 centres in the country on Sunday.


JEE Advanced is the entrance test for admission to IITs spread across India and located in Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi,Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Madras, Palakkad, Patna, Ropar, Roorkee, Tirupati, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad for the academic session 2017.

Every year, lakhs of students write Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to pursue their dream courses at IITs, NITs, IIITs and ISM Dhanbad. Gen Rawat complimented the students who cracked Engineering Entrance Exams breaking all previous records. The students were specially coached by the Indian Army to take Engineering Entrance Examination.


General Rawat was all praise for 26 boys and 2 girls from Kashmir who cracked the IIT-JEE Mains Exam 2017 and nine other students who successfully qualified the IIT Advanced Exam. The Super-40 initiative was previously known as Super-30. It was started in 2013-14 with the aim of coaching 30 students from Kashmir to attempt IIT main exams. In 2016, the number rose to 40.

Dimapur, June 11 (EMN): A 19 years old Dimapur lad Saurab Jain secured 735 ranked in the all India IIT- Joint Entrance Exam (advanced) 2017 scoring 98 in Mathematics, 80 in Physics, 93 in Chemistry among 2 lakh students from across the country.\nAddressing media persons on Sunday, Saurab Jain expressed his desire to take up Computer Science in the top 3 IITs of the country at Kanpur, Mumbai and Delhi.\nFor a 19 year old, who does not own a smart phone and not active on social networking sites, Saurab feat comes with sacrifices. Son of Ashok Kumar Jain and Mamta Jain of Dimapur, cracking the IIT-JEE was not easy as he had to devote 10 to 12 hours of his time of two years into studies.\n\"Making my parents proud was not easy, but consistency and complete dedication towards my effort, made it possible,\" says Saurab. Saurab has attributed his father Askok Kumar Jain for motivating him throughout his endeavour.\nAlumni of Hollotoli School Dimapur, Saurab spent two years preparing to crack the IIT-JEE at Vibrant Academy, Kota (Rajasthan). The results declared on Sunday saw 36,000 students made it through the IIT-JEE (advanced) with Dimapur boy Saurab Jain ranking 735 in all India rank in the general category.


Question: So, how do you feel being the JEE Advanced 2017 topper with an AIR 1? Did you expect it?Answer-I was very happy but my parents were pretty speechless. After the exams, when JEE Advanced 2017 answer keys got released, I was quite sure that I would end up in the Top 5 list of JEE Advanced toppers. But, when the results got declared, my happiness knew no boundaries.


Question: Did you take JEE Main 2017 examination in online or offline mode? What was your rank and score?Answer-I took the exam in offline mode and got a rank of 55. My marks was 325 out of 360.


Question: Do you think coaching is required to crack JEE?Answer-Well, the level of JEE is higher than NCERT books. So, I think coaching is definitely required especially for JEE Advanced. But, there are students who crack the exam without coaching and succeed too.


The total number of applications, 50,684, is still not the final tally though, as payments for some applications are pending, said SP Singh, registrar at CNLU Patna which is the law school convening the CLAT 2017.


The odds for a candidate from the general category to make it to one of the LLB seats offered in CLAT 2017 now stands at about 2.1% as applicants are competing for 1,154 unreserved LLB seats (and 389 unreserved LLM seats) across the 18 participating NLUs this year. 2ff7e9595c
